A love story about two women, Arisu Nakagawa (Fukuhara), an 18-year-old pregnant woman who has begun to walk towards her dream of becoming a curator, and Hitomi Naruse (Fukada), a woman in her 40s who has been putting love on the back burner, who form a sisterhood (= female bond) that transcends the age difference, and each falls in love with a man with a special past.

Hitomi, who thought she had it all - work, marriage, and children - finds herself still single at nearly 40, and an event that shakes her heart...

An original story that depicts the lifestyles, worries, and conflicts of women in this day and age from the perspectives of two women who meet at a major turning point in their lives.

■Story
March 2023. Influenced by her beloved late mother, 18-year-old Arisu Nakagawa (Haruka Fukuhara) dreams of becoming a museum curator and one day becoming a successful curator overseas. She plans to go to college and leave her father Ichiro (Ken Yasuda) to live alone.
However, on the day of her high school graduation, Arisu finds out that she is unexpectedly pregnant. She sneaks out of the graduation party and tells her college boyfriend Kosuke Aso (YUSEI YAGI) that she is pregnant...

Meanwhile, Hitomi Naruse (Kyoko Fukada) is an excellent art specialist who works at a company that deals with contemporary art, connecting art and business.
As she approaches 40, she is fed up with her mother Kimiko (Nagisa Katahira), who is worried about her daughter's future, asking her to hold her grandchild and when she will get married.

As Arisu spends her days in anxiety, she receives a message from Kosuke asking, "Can we meet tomorrow?" However, it is not Kosuke but his mother, Yumiko (Sylvia Grab), who is waiting for her at the bar where they had arranged to meet.
Arisu is confused, but when Yumiko tells her something shocking, she leaves the bar in anger.

Meanwhile, Hitomi, who is on her way to Shibasaki Ladies Clinic run by her best friend Kaoru Shibasaki (Wakana Matsumoto), comes across Arisu clutching her stomach and about to collapse.
Hitomi quickly supports Arisu and, upon learning that she is pregnant, takes her straight to the clinic.

Arisu, an 18-year-old newly-adult, and Hitomi, who is soon to be 40, meet by chance.
When Arisu begins living alone, she meets Yuma Kurosawa (Oji Suzuka), an aspiring dancer, while Hitomi visits her hometown of Kanazawa for work and has a fateful encounter with Ibuki Kase (Shuhei Uesugi), a driver specializing in transporting fine art.

Despite their differences, the friendship that blossoms between Arisu and Hitomi, despite their differences in age, and their respective love affairs with boys with their own problems, will end up...!?
