EXILE TETSUYA researches the current state and problems of dance education in the educational field of the dance class "modern rhythm dance" in junior high school, and the concrete method of the solution at "Graduate School of Sports Science, Waseda University" I completed my master's course by presenting my master's thesis, "Current State and Prescription of Contemporary Rhythm Dance Classes in Junior High Schools After Compulsion".
The Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology announced the revision of the curriculum guidelines for junior high school in 2008, and in the curriculum guidelines for junior high school that were fully implemented in 2012, all areas including martial arts and dance will be compulsory. Currently, in dance classes, "modern rhythm dance" is being conducted along with creative dance and folk dance.

The fact that dance is a compulsory part of compulsory education is a wonderful event for those of us who have performed street dance, but it's difficult for teachers to say that it is difficult to put it into the field of education. Looking at the news, I was wondering if I could do anything. Under such circumstances, I went to graduate school to study dance, and was able to summarize the actual situation of dance classes in junior high school after compulsory and the ideal class design that I thought of.
This teaching material will be a video teaching material that "visualizes" the dissertation.
From the 1st hour to the 5th hour, you can learn the basics of "modern rhythm dance" and use it as an application in a unit structure of 8 hours in total. In the 6th and 7th hours, group work in which the children freely think about their choreography and think about their standing position and formation. And in the last 8 hours, we have a place to interact with fellow classmates and teachers to show their achievements. From the 1st hour to the 8th hour, dance lessons and assignments are made every hour, so it is easy to understand and easy for anyone to use.
