■KENCHI TACHIBANA (EXILE / EXILE THE SECOND)
In the world of『HiGH&LOW』, everyone is a protagonist. However, there are limits to what can be conveyed on screen. I had long harbored a desire to delve deeper into the backstories of each of these unique characters. That wish has now come true. Moreover, as this side story was crafted by a truly stellar lineup of creators, a new world has been born one that is sure to be enjoyed not only by existing fans of the『HiGH&LOW』series but also by lovers of literature. This isn't the end; I'm definitely looking forward to a second installment. The world of『HiGH&LOW』will expand infinitely.

■KAZUMA KAWAMURA (THE RAMPAGE)
First of all, the works created by all the artists were magnificent, and I thoroughly enjoyed them.
It was a thrilling experience that went beyond mere familiarity with the『HiGH&LOW』movies and dramas; at every turn, I could feel the artists' expressive power and their exceptional craftsmanship.
Personally and also as an artist who values words in my songwriting I found this to be a tremendous learning experience.
I'm not particularly well versed in short stories, so seeing how a narrative could be condensed with such density sparked my interest in the genre itself and made it seem incredibly appealing to me.
It was so incredibly entertaining and immersive that it left me with a strong desire to actually see it on screen.

■SHOGO IWAYA (THE RAMPAGE)
A fresh take on『HiGH&LOW』！
A glimpse into the world beyond what is depicted in the films. Even during the moments not shown on screen, this is surely how they live their lives. It was truly refreshing to catch a glimpse not only of them constantly brawling but also of their everyday lives and the reality of their existence as human beings. It is a sensation unique to novels a feeling that conveys everything from the rhythm of their breathing to the very scent of the setting. I found every artist's take on the world of『HiGH&LOW』to be entertaining! In particular, the Amamiya Brothers as depicted by Shion Miura had me grinning from start to finish. lol Having seen the movie allows my imagination to expand even further. This side of『HiGH&LOW』is amazing, too！

■NATSUKI HORI (FANTASTICS)
I was captivated by the emotions of the characters previously unknown to us that are portrayed in each of the stories. The anguish and inner conflict they carry and the presence of friends, brothers, and kindred spirits who gently wash that pain away. Yet, actions born of deep care for these cherished individuals can sometimes lead to heartbreaking farewells. As a delicate, human side of them seemingly the polar opposite of strength was revealed, I felt a deep sense of empathy and even a feeling of being encouraged to move forward. The story, which depicts the light and shadow of the human experience amidst the contrast between fierce battles and everyday life, may well make the world of『HiGH&LOW』feel more relatable.
